Recap of 2011

Tulip
I want everyone to know I had a wonderful 2011 and am really looking forward to 2012. I have a fantastic group of dogs on my truck for the upcoming year.
I ended the last year with such a bang. One of the greatest trial memories of my life will be Tulip owned by Randy and Judy MacMillan winning the Open at the Phoenix Retriever Trial. Then she went on the next weekend to receive a 3rd in the Amateur with Randy. Everyone who knows Tulip and her story beamed with excitement. Tulip is one of the most amazing animals running trials today and just needed to put all four series together. She DID it!!! Now she is on her journey to be a FC/AFC! Go Tulip!
I had a great Open Stake year. Haylee qualified for the National Open and Derrick did an awesome job with finishing 6 series. All 4 of the other Open dogs were very close to qualifying for the National Open.
Tulip MacMillan: Open Win
Xinga Pond: Open Win and 2.5 points short .5 pts
Casey Doherty: 3 pts needed Win
Zelda Bewley: 2 Pts needed the win
I am very proud of all these wonderful dogs and better yet What STYLE!!

Patti & Your Dog

Casey and Xinga Qualified for the 2010 National.
There are many paths to making an FC, but Patti has a plan for your dog. It is fun and consistent training that the dog understands. Through this type of training, your dog will be knowledgeable and confident in any trial situation.

Patti & Puppies
"The key to my success is taking a puppy at a very early age, bonding with that pup, knowing exactly what that pup is all about from the get-go and marking the dogs at an early age. I do not think you can ever "catch up" on training and using only ducks on a daily basis. In my opinion the days of waiting until a dog is 7 months old before training are over. I offer an extensive puppy program, at a discount, that works for both owner and dog to succeed. I have plenty of references to back this up, just contact me for details." - Patti Kiernan
A Note from Derrick Wilkerson, owner of Haylee
"Being from Alaska where it is too cold to train most of the year, I was looking for a trainer with a solid training program, excellent training ponds, and a fierce competitor. I found all that in Patti Kiernan and her training facilities. I have had my black lab, Haylee, with her since she was 5 months old and I certainly feel that she has one of the best puppy training programs in the country. When I got Haylee back in her first spring I was surprised at how well she handled technical, cheating marks. Haylee and I placed third in our first derby when she was only thirteen months old. She aged out of the derby stakes with twenty five points.
"Her grounds have challenging, technical water components that enhance her training program. This is a major factor for my continuing to have Patti progress Haylee in her all-age training. The result has been that Haylee was qualified all-age at two years and two months of age. By three years of age, Haylee had all-age placements.
"Patti has gone out of her way to be a teacher and mentor to me. I have had lots of fun training with Patti and have many fond memories I won’t soon forget. Patti and Bill have made our family feel welcomed when traveling and training on the grounds. We want to say a sincere “Thank You” for all of their hard, dedicated work."
